LNCQ was started by a group of enthusiastic quilters in 1996. After some tweaking, they put together a set of by-laws, selected an executive board, and created special interest committees.
LNCQ filled a void in Northern Colorado.
From that modest start, LNCQ has grown into a viable and appreciated quilt guild. We are a Not for Profit group devoted to providing education, information, and inspiration to those who wish to preserve the heritage of quilting. Throughout the year the Guild hosts a variety of activites from meetings and quilt retreats to community service projects.
Thank you for checking us out! We enjoy seeing old friends and meeting new ones almost as much as we enjoy quilting.

Our meetings are generally held the first Monday of February, May, August, and November at 1:30 pm. We meet at the Best Western Plus (5542 U.S. Hwy 34, Loveland, CO located at the southwest corner of the intersection of I-25 and U.S. 34).

As quilters we enjoy giving back to our community through our craft. We donate quilts to local charities and nursing homes. We schedule sew days throughout the year.
Please contact us to donate your quilts. A loving and deserving home will be found for them. LNCQ thanks you for your kindness and help.
We offer different retreats throughout the year. You must be a member of LNCQ to participate. We offer Spring and Fall retreats at out-of-town locations as well as two stay-at-home retreats.
No matter which retreat you attend there will be lots of sewing, chatter, eating, and fun to be had by all.

Each year we try to stretch our minds by participating in a quilt challenge. You can participate or not, it is a lot of fun!
We all enjoy seeing what our members are doing. Please bring a completed project to "Show and Tell" at our general meetings.

There are numerous small groups that meet once or twice a month in addition to regular club-wide meetings. Some groups are sit and sew on your own project, others are dedicated to a particular area of quilting such as art quilts, longarm quilting, hand work and others.
LNCQ is a not for profit group devoted to preserving the heritage of quilting. It is open to anyone wishing to share knowledge and skills for all aspects of quilting. The arts involved in quilting shall be the primary focus of this organization. The League is to provide a source of education, information, and inspiration and to encourage a high standard of excellence in quilting and quilt arts. This group provides a forum to meet other quilters interested in organizing small quilt groups. The League shall promote the maintenance of small quilt groups/bees.
