New Policy as December 17, 2024 :
Payment for LNCQ retreats, workshops and special events are due at sign up or when an email notice is sent out.
For retreats the payment is due at the time that the email notice is sent asking for payment. Members can pay using PayPal (payment can be made by credit card using PayPal without signing into PayPal). For members who use checks, the checks must be received by the treasurer within 7 days of the email being sent out.
For workshops the payment is due when people sign up. Members can pay using PayPal (payment can be made by credit card using PayPal without signing into PayPal). For members who use checks, the checks must be received by the treasurer within 7 days of when the member indicates on the signup form saying they are paying by check.
When payment is not received in the 7 days the workshop/retreat spot will be opened up and the organizer will go to the next person on the Waiting List. The purpose of this policy is to ensure fairness so people on the Waiting List can get access to our programming. Prior to deleting a person from the registration list the organizer will reach out to the participant via email to see if the check was just tied up in the mail, or there is another logical explanation.
We thank you for your continued support and participation in LNCQ.

We would like to remind all of our members and inform our guests what the policy is for cancellations of pre-paid retreats, events and classes.
If you are not able to attend a pre-paid LNCQ event (e.g. bus trip, retreat, workshop), you must contact the event organizer who will then notify the people on the waiting list starting with #1. This way, it is possible that you will receive a partial or complete refund.
There will be NO refund given if:
We understand that there are always going to be times when the above happens. We would love to be able to give refunds. Unfortunately, the vendors hold LNCQ responsible for the entire cost and the League cannot afford to cover your fee. We need everyone to fully understand and accept these terms when registering and paying for a retreat, event, or class.
We thank you for your continued support and participation in LNCQ.

Whether you’re brand new to wool appliqué or just want a relaxing project to stitch by hand, join the Happy Stitchers small group for a wool applique workshop designed for both beginners and seasoned stitchers! Visit with your fellow LNCQ members and learn the fundamentals of wool appliqué along with a variety of hand embroidery stitches to enhance your work and spark new creative possibilities.
The class fee includes a complete kit to make a 12” x 12” wall hanging—no prep needed, just show up ready to stitch! Whether you’re picking up a needle for the first time, looking to refresh your skills, or just want to enjoy some stitching time with friends, this workshop is a great way to deepen your “LOVE” of quilting through the timeless art of handwork.
Spend a morning in guided exploration of concepts related to color & composition while creating a series of fiber art cards, approximately 4 x 6 inches, that can be stitched at home and given as postcards, framed as small works of art, or kept for future reference and inspiration. Together, we will experiment with a variety of color schemes, combined with value, line, repetition, shape, and texture.
This is a cheap date as you will be working with fabric scraps, trims, and decorative papers from your stash at home. Arrive ready to laugh, share, create the unexpected, and go home with new treasurers.

We had such a wonderful time at the spring retreat at the YMCA of the Rockies in Estes Park, we are going back again for our Fall Retreat.
.
After some discussion, the committee has decided to include breakfast and dinner at the YMCA cafeteria in the cost of the retreat. We feel that providing our own meals like we did during the Spring Retreat is unsustainable. We will have an extra room next to the retreat room for gathering and sharing snacks. Your sleeping room will have a small refrigerator as well as a larger one in the meeting area. You may bring fixing for your lunch or take a trip to town. If you prefer, you may also purchase lunch at the YMCA cafeteria or snack bar/deli. All rooms have 2 queen beds. The YMCA has many amenities that you can enjoy
Registration Opens: July 17th at 8:00 am
Location: YMCA of the Rockies, Estes Park, CO (Longs Peak Lodge)
Dates: October 20-23, 2025 (Note the date change)
