Would you like to learn how to do a One Block Wonder (OBW) quilt? Paula Petterson is offering to help you. She will be working on one or two of her OBW quilts that uses panels while at the retreat: one that uses 4-patches and one that uses hexagons. The 4-patch version is quicker, easier, and less common, but you can choose either one. If you’re interested, she will be happy to meet with you to discuss panel/fabric choice before the retreat – or even before you go on the Missouri Star bus trip.
Here are a few examples of One Block Wonder 4-patch quilts others in the Facebook One Block Wonder Quilt Forum have made:
This one is an example which uses the square 4-patches, which is what Paula plans to use for hers. Wanda used 9 panels, but a smaller quilt is possible using 5 panels.
